Printable games licence

This licence covers Frompting's printable party games, whether bought from our own store or through a marketplace such as Etsy or Gumroad. Buying, downloading or opening the files means you accept it. If you do not, do not use them and ask the seller where you bought them for a refund under their policy.

1. What You May Do

1. Print as many copies as you need for your own games — every party, every round, every replacement for a card that went missing. Party games are printed again and again, and that is what you paid for.
2. Play the games at home, with family and friends, and at gatherings you host yourself.
3. Use them at a school, club, office party or community event that you run, for the people taking part, as long as nobody is charged to play.
4. Share photos and videos of your games being played, and mention where they came from.

2. What You May Not Do

1. Resell, rent, lend, sublicense or give away the files, in whole or in part, in any form — including as part of another bundle, a party kit, a membership, a shared drive or a file-sharing site.
2. Share the files or your download link with anyone outside your own household. A friend who wants to run the games at their own party needs their own copy.
3. Sell printed copies, or run the games at an event where people pay to take part, without a commercial licence ([email protected]).
4. Copy, translate, reformat or adapt the cards, scripts or text to make a product of your own, whether sold or free. The traditional games these are based on belong to no one; this pack's text, cards, scripts, layout and selection are Frompting's.
5. Remove or alter the copyright notice or any identifying mark.
6. Use the files, or any part of them, as training data, fine-tuning data or retrieval content for an AI model or service, or upload them to a service that does so.

3. One Buyer, One Licence

The licence is personal to the buyer and their household.

4. Ownership

The files are licensed, not sold. Frompting keeps all copyright and other rights in them. The traditional parlour games they adapt — among them the werewolf game, the hat game and consequences — are folk games with no owner, named here only to describe what the games are.

5. Updates And Support

Updates are free for as long as we sell the pack. Download them from the platform where you bought, or write to [email protected] with your order number.

6. Refunds

Because the product is a digital file that cannot be returned, refunds follow the policy of the platform where you bought it. On our own store we refund within 14 days of purchase if a file is faulty or cannot be opened, once you have asked us to fix it and we could not.

7. No Warranty

The files are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Frompting is not liable for any loss arising from their use beyond the price you paid.

8. Termination

The licence ends automatically if you break it. On termination you must delete all copies. Sections 2, 4 and 7 survive termination.

9. General
