Digital product licence

This licence covers every digital product sold by Frompting (frompting.com), whether bought from our own store or through a marketplace such as Etsy, Gumroad or Amazon. Buying, downloading or opening a product means you accept it. If you do not, do not use the product and ask the seller where you bought it for a refund under their policy.

1. What You May Do

1. Use the product yourself, on any number of your own devices, for as long as you like.
2. Use the prompts, templates and frameworks in it for personal and commercial work: your own writing, your clients' work, your business, your job. What you create with them is yours, with no attribution required.
3. Print one copy for your own use.
4. Quote short passages (up to 100 words) in reviews, teaching or commentary, with credit to Frompting and a link to frompting.com.

2. What You May Not Do

1. Resell, rent, lend, sublicense or give away the product, in whole or in part, in any form — including as part of a bundle, a course, a "prompt pack", a membership, a template library, a Notion workspace, a shared drive or a file-sharing site.
2. Share the files or your download link with anyone outside your own household, or with more than one person inside a business (a team licence is sold separately — [email protected]).
3. Copy, translate, reformat or adapt the product to create a product of your own, whether sold or free. The frameworks themselves belong to no one; this product's text, layout, examples, scores, artwork and selection are Frompting's.
4. Remove or alter the copyright notice, the licence page, the purchase stamp or any identifying mark.
5. Use the product, or any part of it, as training data, fine-tuning data or retrieval content for an AI model or service, or upload it to a service that does so.
6. Claim authorship of the product or present it as your own work.

3. One Buyer, One Licence

The licence is personal to the buyer. Copies may carry the buyer's name, e-mail address or order number on every page; a copy found in circulation identifies the licence it came from, and that licence ends. Businesses buying for more than one person must buy a team licence.

4. Ownership

The product is licensed, not sold. Frompting keeps all copyright and other rights in the product. Named frameworks, models and methods referenced in the product are the work of their respective authors and are described here for education; no endorsement is implied.

5. Updates And Support

Updates to the product you bought are free for as long as we sell it. Download them from the platform where you bought, or write to [email protected] with your order number.

6. Refunds

Because the product is a digital file that cannot be returned, refunds follow the policy of the platform where you bought it. On our own store we refund within 14 days of purchase if a file is faulty or cannot be opened, once you have asked us to fix it and we could not.

7. No Warranty

The product is provided "as is". Prompts and frameworks are tools, not guarantees; what an AI model produces from them is outside our control. To the extent the law allows, Frompting is not liable for any loss arising from use of the product beyond the price you paid.

8. Termination

The licence ends automatically if you break it. On termination you must delete all copies. Sections 2, 4 and 7 survive termination.

9. General
